As a professional HIM department director or manager with nThrive, you will take responsibility for your client's every challenge, large and small – from filling a key vacancy to identifying needs for performance improvement and developing work plans to guide operations. You will focus on monitoring, measuring and reporting on key metrics critical to your client's success, including record completion, DNFB, A/R days and turnaround times.

What we look for:

  • RHIA/RHIT required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years HIM Director experience in at least two 200-bed facilities required; hospital information system experience required. Previous consulting experience required.
  • Required HIM skills: DNFB management, CMS regulations, JCAHO standards knowledge, HIPAA knowledge. Preferred skills: project management, electronic record implementation and re-engineering, MPI cleanup, operational assessment, business process redesign, outsource transcription management, compliance regulations knowledge, staffing, software/hardware justification.
