I worked with the Commercial team in Alpharetta, GA. My project covered multiple areas. Throughout the summer, I complete weekly eVP Compliance Reports and updates to nThrive PowerPoint and Word Documents. In addition, I conduct data cleansing, which involves updating Opportunity Owners using Salesforce, comparing accounts using Excel, and closing out RFP forms.

My project was to convert customers invoiced by mail to email invoices by gathering accounts payable contact information, expanding on audit billing file to include newly acquired business, and conducting a CPI audit, process and finalize credit memos and invoices, and enhance knowledge of Excel.

I worked with the Human Resources team in Alpharetta, GA. The project involved creating and gathering the content for nThrive’s new Careers website. I helped to create a website that captures nThrive’s mission and appeals to prospective applicants. From writing content for each department to gathering photos and other media for the site, I learned a lot about nThrive as both a culture and a business. In addition, the project allows me to embrace my creative side, while also constantly finding different ways to problem solve and communicate.

I worked with the Solutions team in Alpharetta, GA. The project was to serve as program manager over a cross-functional team. I worked to build a project plan with required steps, corresponding dates, and delegated responsibilities. Using that plan, I tracked each stakeholder’s progress on his/her delegated responsibilities and ensured that each stakeholder was sticking to the plan. I also tracked issues, relayed the issue to the various functions, instigated cross-functional collaboration, and communicated the agreed upon resolution and its impact on the project plan to the various stakeholders.

Through this detail-oriented work, I have learned how to manage change and proactively spot and address problems. Also, I have gained confidence in speaking in corporate settings. I lead a daily, hour-long conference call, and every day my nerves lessen. I developed an interest in consumerism, and from there, I focused my project on the demand for price transparency in the health care market.
