During the closing days of June, hundreds of attendees spoke with nThrive health care experts at HFMA ANI 2017, in the sunny city of Orlando, Florida. They learned how their organizations could transform their entire revenue cycles into maximum-efficiency processes that improve patient satisfaction and improve cash flow. One of the hottest topics was our Patient Access platform, in which nThrive provides a unique combination of technology, services, advisory, analytics and education. nThrive showcased our Transitions Program, a company effort to fill health care job shortages in the community by employing military veterans, unemployed and underemployed populations. As part of the program, nThrive Education is partnering with health care organizations across the nation to provide education and training to these populations, many with no health care experience. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates qualify for high-demand health care jobs, such as medical coders, billers, patient access representatives, clinical documentation improvement specialists, and patient financial service representatives.

As part of the Transitions Program, attendees at the nThrive booth spun the wheel for charity and helped donate $1,000 on behalf of nThrive to Hire Heroes USA.   Hire Heroes empowers U.S. military members, veterans and military spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce, while maintaining a singular focus on employment. nThrive has collaborated with Hire Heroes USA on this cause for nine years and is committed to supporting the program’s success. To date, nThrive has contributed more than $250,000 to the organization. To read the full press release about Hire Heroes USA, click here.
