Dear Reader –

The pace of change in health care is astounding. Both technology and health solutions are developing rapidly, and the health care industry is continuously growing. However, the dedication among health care providers to increase patient education, patient access, and patient satisfaction remains constant.

In a recent blog, nThrive Senior Director of Operational Effectiveness and Optimization Tammy Stone discusses what today's health care patients want to know how you can help provide an optimized level of care to meet their expectations. As she explains, the key is a strong front end and effective Patient Access resources that will optimize the patient experience before providing them with exceptional patient solutions. I hope you have a moment to read this story and if you're interested in learning how nThrive can help your organization achieve better estimate accuracy – a leading factor in increasing patient satisfaction – let us know, today!

Over the past month, nThrive participated in multiple industry events, including the AAHAM Iowa Hawkeye Chapter Fall Conference. At the event, Barry Zajac, MHSA, who is responsible for nThrive's episode of care bundled payment products, hosted a thought-leading session entitled, "An Introduction to Bundled Payment Programs." During his presentation, Barry broke down the bundling process into four steps, explained why identifying variations in physician performance is essential, and discussed which measures ranked highest in enabling organizations to take on risk-based arrangements. To learn more about bundled payments, read through this re-cap of Barry's presentation. And of course, if you have any questions, please contact us to speak with an nThrive health solutions expert.

In addition to our recent blogs, I'd also like to share with you two resources that I know will serve you with valuable information. In an nThrive on-demand education solutions webinar titled, "Strategies for Improved Payor Contract Pricing and Modeling," Director, Contract Management Strategies John Wallace shares best practices around payment variance and identifies common barriers that affect the ability to accurately model contracts. Then in a new Executive Guide, "The Value of a Complete Quality Coding Audit Program," you'll learn how your organization can achieve financial success, quality outcomes and avoid costly penalties. I hope these assets will be of value to you and your health care organization.

Thanks for reading this edition of The nQuirer. I look forward to sharing more updates with you next month, and I hope you enjoy the start of the Fall season.

Best,

Joel Hackney, CEO
